About the Jets...
The Jets will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Thursday, when they travel to San Antonio, Texas to take on the St. Mary's Rattlers. St. Mary's is currently third in the Heartland Conference standings. Newman is tied with Texas A&M International for the top spot in the conference. The redshirt-junior from La Vernia, Texas has been slowed down since the Rattlers' first meeting with Newman, averaging 12.2 points per game, five points off of his season average. Kotzur is joined in double-figures by Lamb Autrey (11.8 ppg) and Daryell Taylor (11.6 ppg). Autrey poured in 18 points in his first meeting against the Jets. Taylor scored a season-high 17 points in a 72-68 loss against Indianapolis on Dec. 17.

First Half Notes
-Eric Saunders scored the games first points on a jumper at the 18:21 mark.
