WICHITA, Kan. - Newman women's soccer competed against Dallas Baptist on Saturday afternoon at Wilkins Field. The only goal of the game came from the Patriots in the 56th minute leading to a 1-0 loss for the Jets.
-The defense battled hard for the Jets as the Patriots shot 21 goals in the two halves with 10 on target.
-Patriot Danielle Presley scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute mark.

Jordan DeBoer had the first shot of the game for the Jets in the 78th minute.
-In an effort to tie the game
Blair Terry tried for a goal with 48 seconds left, but the Patriots blocked it.

Kayleigh Renfro had nine saves in the game, two in the first half and seven in the second.
The Jets move to a 3-5 overall record and 1-3 in Hearltand Conference play. Newman will travel to Abilene, Texas to take on McMurry on Oct. 4.
