Box Score DALLAS – The Newman women's soccer team fell, 6-0, to Dallas Baptist on Thursday (Oct. 31) at Patriot Soccer Field. The Lady Jets dropped to 6-9 and 3-5 in the Heartland Conference.
 
DBU scored the game-winning goal in the 21st minute on a shot that deflected off Haley Borchers and went in. The Patriots went up 2-0 on an own goal in the 22nd minute.
 
The Patriots added four more goals in the second half for the 6-0 final score.
 
In the game, DBU totaled 35 shots to one from the Lady Jets. A total of 17 shots for DBU were on goal, and NU's one shot was on goal from Blair Terry.
 
The Lady Jets look to clinch a spot in the Heartland Conference Tournament on Saturday (Nov. 2) against Rogers State at 7:30 p.m. in Claremore, Okla.
