Box Score CLAREMORE, Okla. – Courtney Galliher scored the game-winning golden goal for Newman women's soccer, lifting the Lady Jets to a 3-2 win and clinching them a spot in the Heartland Conference Tournament. NU improved to 7-9 on the season and 4-5 in the Heartland Conference.
 
Galliher scored the game-winning goal in the 97th minute as she fired a shot past the goalkeeper off a cross from Jasmine Woodruff.
 
Mei-Mei Senthavy tied the score at 2-2 in the 55th minute with a goal, which broke the Newman Division II school record for goals in a season with 11. Channing Kelley picked up the assist on the record-breaking goal.
 
The Lady Jets fell behind early as the Hillcats scored in the 10th minute for a 1-0 advantage.
 
Jeehye Yi tied the score at 1-1 with a goal in the 24th minute. She knocked in a cross from Senthavy.
 
RSU regained the lead right before halftime with a goal in the 43rd minute to go into halftime up 2-1.
 
Haley Borchers went the full 96:13 in goal, making six saves and allowing two goals.
 
The Lady Jets now prepare for the Heartland Conference Tournament on Nov. 7-9.
