Jets Stay in Tournament Hunt with 81-72 Win on Senior Day

WICHITA – The Newman men's basketball team stayed in the Heartland Conference Tournament hunt with an 81-72 victory over Rogers State on Saturday (Feb. 21) at Fugate Gymnasium on Senior Day. The Jets won their seventh straight home game and moved to 14-10 overall and 10-8 in the Heartland Conference. The Hillcats dropped to 18-8 and 12-6 in the conference.
