Bryant and Wilson each had three points, while Nwosu chipped in two points during the 8-3 run. Newman would take a 40-32 lead into intermission.

-The Jets opened up the second half with a 9-3 run that lasted a little over four minutes. Bryant got the run started with a made free throw followed by a Christian DeYoung 3-pointer and a Schieber jumper and 3-pointer to put the lead at 49-35.

-It would be back and forth throughout the middle portion of the second half, which included Lubbock Christian getting within three points of the Jet lead at 7:30. DeYoung would knock down another 3-pointer with 5:39 to make the score 66-58 in favor of the Jets.

-Lubbock Christian would be within three points again at 68-65 with 2:51 left in regulation but a Schieber 3-pointer would push the lead out to 71-65. That 3-pointer along with free throws down the stretch would give the Jets a 77-75 victory.
