Jets Look To Make A Push On The Road

WICHITA, KAN. — The Newman Men's Soccer team will be traveling to San Antonio on Thursday to take on St. Mary's on Thursday and will travel to Laredo, Texas on Saturday to take on Texas A&M International. Newman is looking to make a run in the later part of the season looking to make a playoff push.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (4-6-4, 2-5-3 Heartland) are coming off a weekend in which it won at home Thursday against Oklahoma Christian in a well-played game Thursday. On Saturday staying home and playing Rogers state and the Jets were able to tie the Hillcats in double overtime.

SCOUTING THE RATTLERS

The Rattlers (7-6-1, 5-5-0 Heartland) are coming off a weekend in which it went 0-2, first traveling to Odessa, Texas and taking on Texas-Permian Basin going into overtime and losing 2-1. Saturday the team traveled to Lubbock, Texas to take on Lubbock Christian and would go on to lose 4-1.

SCOUTING THE DUSTDEVILS

The Dustdevils (6-4-2, 5-4-1 Heartland) are coming off of a 1-1 weekend on the road, first on Thursday traveling to Lubbock, Texas to take on Lubbock Christian and taking a 2-0 victory. On Saturday the team traveled to Odessa, Texas to take on Texas-Permian Basin and would end up losing that game 2-0.
