WICHITA, Kan. — The Newman Women's soccer team will be traveling to San Antonio and Laredo, Texas this weekend to take on St. Mary's and Texas A&M International. Newman is trying to stay atop the conference in the final push for the playoffs.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (7-5-2, 4-4-2 Heartland) are coming off a weekend in which they tied St. Edward's at home on Thursday night and would lose a tough game Saturday in 74 minutes against Dallas Baptist. The Jets are looking to get past that make the push needed to get into the playoffs.

The Rattlers (6-6-2, 3-5-2 Heartland) are coming off a weekend in which they lost two games, first the team traveled to Oklahoma City to take on Oklahoma Christian and lost that game 2-1 and then on Saturday the team traveled to Lubbock, Texas and lost that game in double overtime 1-0.

The Dustdevils (3-8-2, 2-7-1 Heartland) are coming off of a 1-1 weekend first traveling to Lubbock, Texas to take on Lubbock Christian and the Dustdevils would end up losing that game 2-0, Saturday the team would travel to Edmond, Oklahoma to take on Oklahoma Christian and would come away with a 2-0 victory.
