Jets Looking To Finish Strong On The Road

WICHITA, Kan. —The Newman Women's soccer team will be finishing up their season on the road when they travel to Oklahoma City and Lubbock, Texas to take on both Oklahoma Christian and Lubbock Christian. Newman is looking to finish the season strong and look to the conference tournament.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (9-5-2, 6-4-2 Heartland) are coming off a good weekend going 2-0 on the road. First the team traveled to San Antonio to take on the Rattler's and the won that game 3-2 playing some really good soccer. Saturday the team traveled to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International and would end up winning that game 4-1 after being down 1-0 until the end of the first half.

The Eagles (2-14-0, 1-11-0 Heartland) are coming off a rough weekend where it went 0-2. First traveling to Austin, Texas to take on St. Edwards and losing 6-0 and then the team would travel to Dallas, Texas to take on Dallas Baptist and would lose that game 6-0 as well.

The Chaparrals (9-6-1, 6-5-1 Heartland) are coming off a weekend in which they went 0-2 as they were on the road first in Dallas, Texas to take on Dallas Baptist and would lose that game 3-0. Saturday the team traveled to Austin, Texas to take on St. Edward's and would end up losing that game 3-0 as well.
