WICHITA, Kan. —The Newman Volleyball team will be at home this weekend when they welcome Dallas Baptist and St. Edward's. Newman is coming off a win in their last home game and is looking to keep that momentum going into its conference matchups this weekend.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (10-16, 3-4 Heartland) are coming off a win at home when they finished up their non-conference schedule when they welcomed Friends into Fugate Gym and won 3-0. After finishing up the first half of conference play the Jets are looking to gain momentum in the second half and make a push for the postseason.

The Patriots (7-13, 3-5 Heartland) are coming off a 1-1 weekend first playing a non-conference game at Texas A&M-Kingsville and losing in three sets. Then the team travel to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International and winning in three sets.

First the team traveled to Laredo, Texas to take on Texas A&M International and was able to take that in game in four sets, Saturday the Hilltoppers travel to San Antonio to take on St. Mary's and would end up losing that game in four sets.
