A 4-0 DBU run flipped that lead, but the Jets didn't collapse, rolling off a 6-0 roll of their own, including two Turner kills and a block from Crystal Powell. It took until a three-point run late for the Patriots to tie it at 16-all, and DBU went up 23-19. Newman didn't go quietly though, getting a kill from Anna Burton, one from Harvey and a block by Powell and Harvey to get it to 24-23 before the Patriots closed it out.
-Turner contributed two aces, a kill and part of a block with Powell to help the Jets to a 5-1 lead to start the third as they looked to mount a comeback.
