WICHITA, Kan. —The Newman men's Basketball team will be back at home Wednesday after a tough couple of games last weekend looking to bounce back as they host Manhattan Christian. Newman will be looking to use this week to get back in the swing of things as they take on a nonconference opponent.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (1-1) remain at home as they finished the weekend winning its first game taking on Cameron University winning that game in overtime 87-85. The Jets then came out Saturday looking to keep momentum on their side as they took on Texas A&M-Commerce but the Jets would come away with a loss in that game 74-69.

The Thunder (2-3) are coming off of a weekend where the team participated in the Classic for Christ in McPherson, as the team took on Oklahoma Wesleyan University losing by a big margin 108-79.
