Volleyball Heads To Arkansas For Weekend Action
WICHITA, Kan. — The Newman volleyball team will be traveling to Arkansas to participate in the Carr Racop Invitational this weekend. The Jets will play against Northwest Missouri State Thursday at 4:30 p.m., Henderson State Friday at 2 p.m., and Missouri Western and West Florida Saturday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The Jets (4-5) are coming off of a tough tournament in Colorado going 1-3 against Colorado Mines, Colorado-Colorado Springs, Central Oklahoma and Colorado State-Pueblo.
Emily Harvey has been selected as the Heartland Conference offensive player of the week twice this season and is leading the conference with 4.32 kills per set and is top 30 with a .405 hitting percentage on the season.
