WICHITA, Kan. — The Newman Jets women's soccer team will be returning home this weekend for their games against Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma Christian. The Jets will look to get back to its early season form and look to play their style of soccer.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (5-3-1, 2-2-1 Heartland) are coming off a tough weekend where they tied Dallas Baptist in Dallas on Thursday and lost to No.6 St. Edward's on Saturday in Austin. The Jets competed in both games it was one shift of momentum or one miscue that led to an advantage for the other team.

The Chaparrals (5-3-1, 2-2-1 heartland) are coming off a 1-1 weekend. Thursday losing in San Antonio, Texas to St. Mary's 1-0 in double overtime and then traveling to Laredo, Texas to take on the DustDevils and winning that game 4-2.

The Eagles (1-7-0, 0-5-0 Heartland) are coming off a rough weekend losing two overtime games on the road first in Laredo, Texas on Thursday losing to the DustDevils 2-1 and then traveling to San Antonio Saturday to take on the Rattlers and losing a close game 2-1 in double overtime.
