Jet Return Home Looking To Stay In the Conference Hunt

WICHITA, Kan. — After suffering a loss at the hands of Dallas Baptist last weekend, the Jets are looking to bounce back as they return home for action Thursday and Saturday as they take on Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma Christian.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (8-10, 4-3 Heartland) are coming off a nonconference victory Thursday over Kansas Wesleyan 87-76 and a conference loss Saturday when they traveled to Dallas to take on No. 17 Dallas Baptist 88-76. The Jets currently sit fifth going into Thursday's action.

SCOUTING THE CHAPARRALS

The Chaparrals (8-10, 4-3 Heartland) are coming off a two-win weekend as they took on St. Edward's and Oklahoma Christian at home. Thursday the Chaps hosted the Rattler's and were able to get a 97-83 victory, Saturday the team played host to the Eagles and would get their second victory of the week 89-74.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES

The Eagles (7-10, 3-4 Heartland) are coming off a 1-1 weekend at home and on the road, Thursday the team played host to Dallas Baptist and would come away with a good victory at home. Saturday the Eagles traveled to Lubbock, Texas to take on the Chaparrals, the Eagles would come up short in that game losing 89-74.

NOTES

-Kevin Bryant has been able to control the boards all season with his 7.9 rebounds per game he is fourth in the Heartland with that mark.

-Ben Ayre has done a good job finding his teams all season currently fifth in the Heartland with a mark of 4.5 assists per game.
