WICHITA, Kan. — The Newman women's soccer team hits the road this weekend for their final road trip of the regular season. The Jets currently sit in third place in the Heartland conference and will look to gain ground as they matchup against the top two teams in the conference. The Jets will open the road trip in Austin, TX on Thursday (Oct. 11) at 2 p.m. matching up against conference leading St. Edwards. The Jets will conclude the road trip Saturday (Oct. 13) in Dallas, TX against second place Dallas Baptist University, kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m.
SCOUTING NEWMAN
The Jets (8-1-3, 4-1-3 Heartland) used a late second half surge scoring three goals in the final ten minutes of regulation settling for a 3-3 draw Saturday against Rogers State. The Jets outshot the Hillcats 19-18 in the game, finishing the contest with an 11-7 advantage on net.

DBU came up on the wrong end of the scoreboard last Saturday, falling to St. Edwards 1-0 in overtime.
