WICHITA, Kan. — Wrapping up a busy weekend, the Newman men's tennis team fell 9-0 to No. 16 Northwest Missouri State Sunday morning at West Genesis.

The Jets (5-6) suffered closes losses at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, while Lauri Soome and No. 1 singles and Diego Rojo at No. 3 both went to a superset tiebreaker, but fell against their counterparts from the Bearcats (2-5).

Newman takes a week off before beginning a spring break road trip, starting March 18 at Rockhurst.
