Box Score WICHITA, Kan. — Continuing a busy weekend at home, the Neweman men's tennis team didn't drop a set, cruising by William Jewell 9-0 Friday afternoon at Riverside Tennis Center.
Blake Crawford at No. 4 singles and Enrique Coiras at No. 6 won in straight sets without dropping a game, wile Lauri Soome took a tiebreaker in the second set to earn the victory at No. 1 singles.
The Jets (5-5) started off the day with a 3-0 lead against the Cardinals (1-9) thanks to three quick wins in doubles play.
Newman continues its homestand Sunday, when it faces No. 16 Northwest Missouri State at 9 a.m. at West Genesis.
