How It Happened
The scoring didn't happen until the second half, this is not because the Jets did not have opportunities in the first half. At halftime, Newman had out shot Southern Nazarene 10 to 1. Six of the ten shots just happened to be off target and their other four got saved by the Crimson Storm goalkeeper. In just the second minute of the second half Bellosta Manchon was able to break the 0-0 tie after the Jets were able to push the Southern Nazarene defense to their breaking point. Almost exactly three minutes later,
Ed Jabbari was able to score the second and final goal of the game.
Andreas Agrell crossed a ball from the right side of the box through to Jabbari, who was able to finish on his first touch.
