TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – On Friday night, the Jets traveled to down south to take on Northeastern State in the first round of the MIAA Conference tournament. Unfortunately for the Jets, the match didn't go in their favor as they would fall to Northeastern State 4-0. Although the Jets season came to an end tonight, the Jets proved they will be a team to beat next season.

How It Happened
In the third minute of play the scoring would start as Northeastern would get a team goal to give the Riverhawks a 1-0 lead. NSU would score again as Sarah Rector would beat Jackie Lari to give Northeastern a 2-0 lead. With a change at goalie at halftime for Newman, the Riverhawks would score again as Paulina Chavez would beat Maria Vega to give Northeastern a 3-0 lead. The final blow was in the 57th minute, after a foul by Sarra Gutknecht, Paige Lorenzo would score to give Northeastern a 4-0 lead and put away the game.

The Jets will be back in action next year as their season has come to an end.
