With a win, they would give themselves a great chance to make the GAC Tournament. With a loss, they may miss out. Newman however, took full advantage of their opportunity. The Jets would score 5 goals in the first half as they kept SNU off of the board. The Jets would add 2 more in the second half, giving up two of their own to finish the game 7-2.
