Seniors, Blake Crawford (Men's Tennis) and Tyler Mies (Wrestling) were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for At-Large Sports on Thursday (May 16). Crawford and Mies are two of just 10 student-athletes who landed on the all District 6 Team chosen from several sports that are part of the at-large category. Men's sports included in the at-large category include tennis, wrestling, fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, volleyball and water polo.

Crawford is an Accounting major at Newman University. He carries a 4.00 cumulative GPA. Mies a recent graduate finished his degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. He finished with a 3.86 cumulative GPA. The CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America programs are voted on based off both a student-athlete's academic and athletic accomplishments.
