SEARCY, Ark. - Newman battled Harding Thursday night.  The Jets played an aggressive style against HU, but ultimately fell 3-1.

Newman falls to 0-13-1, 0-8-1 GAC/MIAA, while the Bison advance to 3-6-2, 3-4-2 GAC/MIAA.  Cliff Brown's squad battled, but could not erase the 3-0 lead Harding jumped out too.

In the first 45, Harding put 5 shots on goal scoring 2 of them.  Newman put three of their own on net, but was unable to convert on any of them.

The second half began with much of the same seen in half number one.  In the 84th minute Newman had two corner kicks putting the pressure on Harding.  At that point the game was 3-0, however, at 86:42 Newman's Joao Moreira scored on a goal assisted by Luke Mills.  It was Moreira's third on the year.
