WICHITA, Kan. - S.A.A.C. President Lauren Esfeld and Sponsor Maureen Rohleder announce the beginning of the first ever S.A.A.C. Auction.  All proceeds benefit Newman student-athletes and Make-a-wish directly.

What is SAAC?

SAAC is the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.  Every NCAA member school must have a board of Student Athlete Advisory Committee members, which includes 2-3 athletes from each sport to represent their team and Newman.  We do community service, raise money for make-a-wish, vote on proposed legislation for the NCAA membership, and have a voice to help bridge the gap between Athletics and the rest of campus.  

 

This year we decided to have an online auction to benefit the student-athletes directly. This auction will help fund our Jetspy's at the end of the year where athletes are recognized for their hard work and effort put into their sport through the year. It will also help support us in making our yearly $1,000 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
