HAYS, Kan. – On Saturday Afternoon, the Newman Men's soccer team traveled to Hays, Kansas to take on Fort Hays State.  Unfortunately for the Jets, they were unable to pick up the win tonight as they would fall 4-0.

The Jets and Tigers were tied until the 9^th minute when Fort Hays State's Blake Arndt would beat Jean Claude Consol to give the Tigers the 1-0 lead.  The Tigers would add on in the 41^st minute, 80^th, and 88^th minute and would shoutout the Jets for the second game in a row in the 4-0 win for Fort Hays State.

How It Happened

The Jets would be outshot in this contest 26-4 and Fort Hays State would have 11 shots on goal vs Newman's 3.  The scoring would start in the 9^th minute when Blake Arndt beat Jean Claude Consol in the top right of the goal to give the Tigers the early 1-0 lead.  They would add another in the 41^st minute by Antonio De La Torre.  Fort Hays State would add to the lead in the 80^th minute when Blake Arndt would get his second goal of the game.  The Tigers would put the dagger in the match with a goal in the 88^th minute when Taisei Arima to help the Tigers in the 4-0 win over Newman.
