BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Women's Golf competed in their final tournament event of the fall season as they made their way to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to finish 2022 in the Tulsa Cup, hosted by Rogers State. The tournament consisted of 18 teams with 7 of them being MIAA teams.
Felisa Sajulga continued her impressive fall season finishing in the top 5 overall in the Tulsa Cup for Newman, only 3 strokes behind the eventual winner Morgan Brasser (+5). Sajulga finished with 6 birdies which was tied for 3
rd place in that category and finished the 2 rounds with 18 pars. Her best round came in the front 9 where she finished -1 with 6 pars and 2 birdies. The T-5 finish was her best result of the fall season.
Aiden Coffelt was 2
nd on the team finishing with 16 pars. Coffelt finished at +29 and had her best result on the back 9 where she finished at +6 in round 1.
Bethany Griffiths followed Aiden, finishing at T78 with a +32 score with 8 pars on the 2 day event.
Megan Bay finished the Tulsa Cup at +39 and
Alivia Nguyen finished at +45.
Newman finished the Tulsa Cup in 17
th place.
