ST. JOSEPH'S, Mo. - Newman Women's Golf travelled to St. Joseph's, Missouri for the Holiday Inn Express Classic.  The team placed 6th thanks to strong performances by Bethany Griffiths who finished 9th for her first top ten finish of her career and Felisa Sajulga who finished 12th.

This is the team's third consecutive 6th place finish.  The team shot 335 in both rounds and was just one stroke behind the 5th place Fort Hays State Tigers.

Bethany Griffiths shot 81 in both rounds for a 162 overall.  Felisa Sajulga shot a team best 80 in the opening round then finished her tournament with an 83 for a 163 overall score.

The Jets will be hosting their own tournament this next week on April 4th and 5th.  The team will play in Newton, Kansas at Sand Creek Station.
