Newton, Kan. – Women's Golf competed in the Bethany College Classic on Monday and Tuesday, bringing home first place as a team while
Isabella Callaba secured first place individually.
Isabella Callaba led the Jets in the opening round with an 81.
Daniela Alvarez followed with an 82, while
Emily Wolverson added an 84.
Mikaela Stenborg recorded an 87, and
Asdis Bjarnadottir rounded out the lineup with an 89 to close out the first round of play.
In the final round, Callaba led the Jets with a 78 to secure the individual title, highlighted by a clutch birdie to seal the win. Bjarnadottir followed with an 88, while Alvarez and Stenborg each recorded rounds of 89. Wolverson added a 91 to round out the team scoring in the final round.
