OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Spring season is in full swing for the Jets as they travelled to Oklahoma City to play in the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invite. Newman scored its best team finish of 6
th place.
Felisa Sajulga finished in a three-way tie for first place, and in third after a playoff for her best individual finish on the season.
Sajulga led the Jets with a 72 in round one and a career best round of 71 on the final round for a score of 143.
Megan Bay and
Britney Wessley each had career best rounds as well. Bay shot an 86 on day 2, while Wessley scored a 78 on day 2. Thanks to the career bests on day 2, the Jets shot a team season low 301 on day 2.
Alivia Nguyen struck gold as she shot a hole-in-one on the 7
th hole from 129 yards out with a 7 iron.
