EDMOND, Okla. – Newman paid a visit to the 19
th ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos on Saturday. The Bronchos won both contests behind solid pitching and an offensive outburst in game 2.

Newman drops to 9-19 (3-7 MIAA) on the season. UCO is now 30-6 (9-1 MIAA) with the series sweep.
Game 1:
Newman jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with a
Lindsay Mayo double.
After a bumpy 3 run bottom of the fourth, the Jets came to the plate in the top of the fifth need runs. Trailing 4-2,
Anissa Ramos singled home a pair of runs tying the game at 4.
The Bronchos put up 6 runs in the bottom of the 6
th to take control of the game and finish off the Jets.
Game 2:
The Bronchos scored in all 4 innings at the plate. The Jets scored a run in both the second and fourth innings.
Janine Gutierrez was tagged with her fourth loss of the season going just 3 innings.
Shayla Harper was a Jet killer all day. Harper finished the day with 4 hits and 5 RBI.
