TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Newman Women's Golf team traveled to Tahlequah, Oklahoma to compete in the NSU Women's Golf Classic on Monday and Tuesday. Newman competed with 14 other schools, some which were familiar foes.
Felisa Sajulga had the best result for the Jets finishing +16 on the 2-day classic with her best coming in round 2 on hole 15 where she eagled on a par 4. Sajulga finished tied for 26
th. On day 1 she was able to salvage her front 9 score of +10 with a back 9 score of +3.
Aiden Coffelt and
Alivia Nguyen both finished day 1 of the NSU Golf Classic with a +11 score, with Aiden's best score coming at +1 on the back 9 in round 1.
