LINDSBORG, KS - The Men's and Women's tennis teams continued their undefeated start to the season, with both teams sweeping Bethany College 7-0. All of the Jets matches this season have been sweeps, with the men winning two and women winning three.
The men had little trouble in singles competition, winning all six matchups, including two of them being shutouts.
Isfan Makhmudov and
Genaro Dagotto had the two shutouts for the Jets.
In men's doubles competition, the Jets only allowed two points through three matches. With a sweep in both singles and doubles, the Jets won their second match of the season.
The women's competition played out in similar fashion, with the team winning all of their doubles and singles matches. Ana Zeikidze won her match without conceding a single point, winning the top match on the women's side.
The doubles matchups were more competitive, but the Jets still prevailed.
A second straight sweep for the women meant the Jets continued their undefeated start, with the team now sitting at 3-0.
Both teams only have two more matches in the fall, playing Quincy on Friday and Missouri Valley College on Saturday.
