WICHITA - The Jets hosted Pratt in their home opener of the 2023 season.

Men's doubles started their dominate performance, with a 3-0 sweep. Luca Penteado and Gustavo Gil took the first win of the day fighting for a  7-5 win. Pedja Kolaric and Isfan Makhmudov had a great performance winning 6-3. Jarrod Nowak and Naoya Fukumoto closed out the doubles dominance with a 6-2 win. 

Newman took 5 of the 6 singles matches. Kolaric, Gil, Makhmudov took their wins in 2 sets. Nowak didn't drop a game in his first set. Penteado dropped his first set but fought hard to complete the comeback winning the third set 6-2. 

The Jets ended the day with a dominant 6-1 win. 

Newman is back in action Saturday, February 18th vs. Drury in Springfield, Missouri. Catch both Men's and Women's teams in action.
