WICHITA- Newman Tennis hosted Bethel College. 
 

Men's Tennis: 

Pedja Kolaric and Isfan Makhmudov brought in the only doubles victory for the Jets. Which gave Bethel 1 point to begin the day. 

The Jets only dropped one match in singles play. Kolaric and Makhmudov dominated in their singles matches  winning 6-1 in both sets. 

Ali Mounir won in 2 sets with a 6-2 and 6-4 victory.

Jarrod Nowak and Mehdi Akoudad continued the Jets dominance. Nowak took his victory 6-2 in both sets. Akoudad rounded out the Jets win with a 6-3 and 6-2 win. 

Newman won the match 5-2. 

Women's Tennis: 

The Jets went perfect on the day, not dropping a single match. Newman swept the doubles matches , with two dominant performances scoring 6-0 and 6-1. The Threshers could not keep up with the Jets. 

Dana Issabayeva started off the day with a singles win, taking her opponent to 3 a tiebreak, prevailing 10-3. 

Amber Hands dominated her opponent not dropping a single game with two scores or 6-0. 

Marie Brunet won her sets 6-0 and 6-3 , the Jets were on a roll. 

Divya Murali , Antonia Ramos , and Nicole Bono recorded 6-0 and 6-1 scores in their singles matches. 

Newman won the day 7-0. 

Newman Tennis is back in action February 25th and 26th in Durant, Oklahoma to take on Texas-Tyler and Southeastern Oklahoma State.
