OWASSO, Okla. - Women's Golf returned to the fairway on Monday and Tuesday afternoon, competing in their 2nd tournament of the Spring season in the Hillcat Classic at Bailey Ranch Golf Club. It was the final event before the ladies host the next tournament at Sand Creek Station for the Newman Invitational in early April.
 
Beth Griffiths and Felisa Sajulga led the Jets at +24 after both shot 168 over the 2 rounds. Griffiths shot 15 pars at the tournament and Sajulga shot 15 as well but would overcome a few bogeys by shooting 3 birdies.
 
 
Alivia Nguyen shot 7 strokes lower on her 2nd round to finish at tied for 48th. Aidan Coffelt and made 11 pars. Megan Bay finished in 58th after shooting +47 in the tournament.
 
Newman finished in 10th in the event and will look for improving results in April when they host the Newman Invitational on April 3rd and 4th.
