ST.JOSEPH, MO- Women's Tennis traveled to Missouri Western for their first conference matchup. 

The Jets started conference play with a different doubles look. Ani Zeikidze and Amber Hands played in the #1 spot, and lost 6-4. Dana Issabayeva and Isabela Campos Bifano played in the #2 spot and took the Jets first win, 7-5. Antonia Ramos and Nicole Bono rounded out the doubles lineup at the #3 spot, but couldn't pull out the win and the Griffons took the doubles point to start the day.  

The Jets were unable to steal a doubles win from the Griffons. 

Bifano and Hands were the only Jets to take a set in their matches. 

Bifano lost her first set 6-3, and was able to rally back in her second set. Bifano won her second set 6-4, forcing a tie break. However, she couldn't pull out the win in the tiebreak and lost is 10-5.

 Hands was down early in her first set and lost 6-0. Hands was able to battle back in the second set and took the win 6-1, forcing a tie break. Hands had a tough tie break, but couldn't come out on top and lost 10-4. 

The Women are back in action Saturday March 25 at 2PM versus Fort Hays State.
