WICHITA- Men's Tennis hosted their first conference matchup versus Augustana. 

Pedja Kolaric and Ali Mounir had a tight match in the #1 spot for doubles, but dropped their mach 6-4. Gustavo Gil and Luca Penteado played in the #2 spot and dominated in a 6-1 victory. In the #3 spot, Isfan Makhmudov and Jarrod Nowak played a close match, and were able to capitalize in crucial moments to come out on top. The Jets took the doubles point 2-1 to start the day. 

Kurt Suarez Bruckner had tough competition at the #1 spot. Bruckner lost his first set 7-6, but rallied back in the second putting it away with a 6-1 victory. Bruckner forced a tie break, but lost a heart breaker 12-10. 

Kolaric took his first set with ease, 6-1. Kolaric's second set was tight and he started down early. However, Kolaric was able to rally and take the second set, 7-5.

Mounir dominated with 6-3 and 6-2 wins in the #3 spot. 

Gil took his first set 6-3, but in the second set he started down early. Gil was able to pull it back together and broke serve to re-take the lead which helped him take the win, 6-4.

Makhmudov and Penteado took their wins in 2 sets. Makhmudov, in the #5 spot, took his wins 6-3 and 6-2. Penteado, in the #6 spot, took his wins 6-2 and 6-1. 

The Jets take their first conference matchup, 6-1.
