Topeka, KS- Men's and Women's Tennis traveled to Topeka to take on the Washburn Ichabods. On the Men's side, the Ichabods are ranked No. 35 and No. 23 on the Women's side. 
 

Men's Tennis:

The Jets were unable to take the doubles point. Luca Penteado and Gustavo Gil faced an opponent ranked No.14 and fell 1-6. Pedja Kolaric and Ali Mounir played a No.16 opponent, and fell just short 3-6. 

Mounir played in the #1 singles spot, and faced No.35 ranked opponent. Mounir dropped his first set 1-6 and tried to battle back in the second but lost 3-6. 

Kolaric, in the #2 spot, dropped his first set 2-6, but forced a third set after winning the second set, 6-4. Kolaric came close in the third set, but lost 3-6. 

Gil, playing in the #5 spot, dropped his first set 3-6. However, he bounced back and dominated the second set winning 6-0. This win forced a tiebreak, but was unable to complete the comeback and lost the tiebreak.

The Jets fell to the Ichabods, 7-0.

Women's Tennis:

In the #1 doubles spot, Divya Murali and Ani Zeikidze faced a No.16 ranked opponent and fell short. Dana Issabayeva and Isabela Campos Bifano took their win, 6-4. This was the only Jets doubles win. The Ichabods took the doubles point. 

Issabayeva took on No.2 ranked opponent and put up a big fight, but fell short, 3-6 and 0-6. 

Zeikidze also faced a ranked opponent, No.24. Zeikidze battled but fell in two sets. 

Divya Murali in the #5 spot, was able to pick up a win for the Jets. Murali took her sets with confidence at 6-2 and 6-3. Murali was the only Jets singles victory of the day. 

The Jets fell to the Ichabods, 6-1.
