WICHITA - Baseball took the series win over Northwest Missouri in convincing fashion, run ruling the struggling Bearcats in 7 innings, 13-3. Northwest was no match for the Jets this afternoon.

Nate Denniston moved to 2-3 on the season, going the distance, giving up 3 runs and striking out 3 batters in route to the win.

Jake Angelico had a career day. The senior hit for the cycle in the very last at bat of the day to clear the bases with a triple down the right field line. Jake homered to begin the game, then hit a double and single in his next at bats before recording his first career cycle to end the game.

Jenner Steele made history, again, in the game. No. 27 hit a ball close to 500 feet over the center field wall for his 11th home run of the season. His home run was his 11th which broke the single season home run record at Newman. The ball landed in the electrical field about 110 feet behind the center field wall, breaking the hearts of many who hoped to get the ball for Steele.

Shawn Marquis finished the game 1 for 3 with 2 RBI's and
Dalton Smith also went 1 for 3 in the game with an RBI.

The run rule win was the 6th time this season the Jets have won in that fashion. The win also was the first time all season the Jets have taken a series after losing in the second game.
