JOPLIN, Mo. - Women's Golf finished their spring season Wednesday afternoon after completing all three rounds. The Jets competed against 10 other MIAA schools that consisted of a total of 54 players.

Gabbie Posch was honored with the MIAA "A Game" scholar award before the tournament. Posch has a 4.0 GPA with 131 credits completed and was given recognition by the MIAA.

As a team the Jets finished in 11th place, shooting a total of 1,067 for +203 on the tournament. Newman was able to lower their score each round from 367 to 367 to 343.

Felisa Sajulga finished her final tournament of the season with another top 10 finish. Sajulga finished tied for 10 place, moving up 14 spots in the final round to finish at +21. She shot 82 in her first two rounds and shot 73 in her final round, one stroke shy of the best round in the tournament. She birdied three of her final nine holes.

Beth Griffiths shot a 93, 92, and 90 to finish in 48th.
Aiden Coffelt followed with a 49th place finish. Her best round came on the final day when she posted an 87, the second best round score for the Jets.

Alivia Nguyen finished in 50th after shooting 93, 92, and 93 in the tournament.
Megan Bay finished in 52nd. Bay, a senior, birdied on her final hole in her golf career.
