TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Baseball dropped their final game of the regular season, 22-5 to finish 22-28, 14-19 heading into post season play. The Northeastern State offense exploded for 18 hits on the afternoon.

Down seven runs early, Newman made things close after putting up four unanswered runs after being in a 7-0 deficit.
Jake Angelico walked with bases loaded in the second inning to score
Eli Wohl, then the Jets would three more runs in the fourth inning.
Jenner Steele singled up the middle to score Wohl, then two at bats later
Zack Stewart doubled down the left field line to score
Shawn Marquis and Steele. The Jets would only score one more time in the eventual lopsided contest.

Zack Stewart finished 1-4 with two RBI's.

The loss puts the Jets in seventh in the final MIAA regular season standings. They'll compete in the MIAA tournament for the first time in program history this Friday when they travel to Joplin to face the two seed Missouri Southern at 1 PM.
