Final Doubleheader Week
Women's Basketball hosts the Missouri Southern Lions and Pittsburg State this week, in what will be the last time fans can catch the Jets in action two days of the week. The final two games at home will be on Saturday February 17
th and Thursday February 29
th.
Last Time Out
The Jets played in only one game last week, hosting Central Oklahoma last Saturday.
Most of the offense in the game was controlled byÂ
Carissa Beck, who was due for a big game. Back to back threes from Beck and
Amiya Josey chipped down the lead and while they came close, they would again be unable to take a firm hold of the game.Â
The Bronchos had the better shootings hands in the second half, which set the two teams apart from each other. Some costly turnovers near the end solidified a firm UCO advantage.Â
Beck led the way with 14 points, 12 of which came from beyond the arc.Â
