ANDOVER, Kan.- The Jets hosted the Newman Fall Invite at Terradyne Country Club. The Women's team finished 5th shooting a team score of 674.
In round one of the play the Jets scored a team score of 334 which secured the Jets 5th place after the first round of play. Through the first round,
Daniela Alvarez was the top Jet after shooting an 81.
Isabella Callaba was only two strokes behind Alvarez with an 83.
Aiden Coffelt and
Brooklyn Davis brought in mid 80s scores in day one of action.
In round two, the Jets team shot a 340.
Bethany Griffiths improved ten strokes from her first day of play to shoot an 80 on day two to lead the Jets. Callaba stayed solid for the Jets and tallied an 86.
Brooklyn Davis shot another 86 on day two.
Mikaela Stenborg and
Avery Grunert played as individuals in this tournament. Stenborg shot an 85 on day one and an 89 on day two. Grunert ended the tournament shooting a 203.
The Jets placed 5th overall. Women's Golf returns to play October 28th for the Tulsa Cup in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
