WARRENSBURG,  Mo.- The Jets traveled to face Central Missouri for the second time this season. Last time out against the Jennies, the Jets fell 3-0 back in early October. This time out, the Jets dropped the match 3-0.

How it Happened:
- In the first set, Brooklyn Lane got the Jets off to a good start with a service ace on the first serve. Natalie Meyer got in on the action with a service ace of her own, and a kill the point before, to give the Jets the lead at 3-1. Central Missouri came storming back and snagged the lead, taking the game to 7-3. Another ace by the Jets, served by Avery Dempsey, stopped the Jennies run to make it a 7-5 game still in favor of the Jennies. Central Missouri was then able to keep control of the game, taking the game to 16-8. A Meyer kill stopped the Jennies run. However, this just briefly stopped the Jennies. Central Missouri extended their lead to 18-11. Makenna Reinert connected with a kill to try to revive the Jets at the 23-13 mark, but the deficit was too large. The Jets fell short in the first set, 25-13.

-  In the second set, the Jets were battling early.  A kill by Ozioma Ajekwu put the Jets on top. The Jennies were then able to battle back for the lead. Another Ajekwu kill kept the Jets offense going at 7-4, in favor of the Jennies. Errors by Central Missouri allowed the Jets to stay in reach at 12-7. After this mark, the Jennies extended their lead to 15-9. Reinert hit her second kill of the set to make the score 16-10. From that point, the Jennies stayed hot to make the deficit nine points. Two kills in a row by Meyer and McKenna Rhodes started to rally the Jets offense with a 21-13 deficit. Reinert and Ajekwu stepped up with kills to keep battling at a 24-17 game , but the Jennies were able to hold out and take the set 25-17.

- An early kill by Reinert put the Jets on top at 4-3 to start the third set. The next point, Reinert scored another point with a service ace making it a 5-3 game for the Jets. Madalyn Hoot kept the run going with a kill , taking the 6-3 lead. After this point, the Jennies battled back and were able to retake the lead at the 8-7 mark. Kills by Reinert and Silvia Fisher gave the Jets back the lead at 9-8. The Jennies struck back and made it 10 all. They kept their run going and extended it to 16-11 which forced the Jets to take a timeout. After the timeout, the Jets cashed in off of Jennies mistakes to make it a 16-13 game. Central Missouri kept pushing and were able to take the game to 20-16 in favor of the Jennies.
