Jets compete for come back but fall short against Pratt

Bruckner continues great form with another singles win

WICHITA - Men's Tennis came back after winning 4-3 in a close matchup against Ottawa. The Jets battled throughout the whole match, but the Beavers got the best out of them in three super tie breakers. 

 

Pratt got the doubles point to start the match since the Jets were only able to get one win out of the three matches played. Andrea Bramati and Nicolo Lippolis won their match 6-3. 

 

Ali Mounir looked very solid throughout the whole match but ended up losing it in a heartbreaking third set super tie break, leaving a final score of 7-5, 4-6, 7-10. 

 

Kurt Bruckner Suarez had another brilliant performance winning his match in straight sets 7-5 7-5 to give the Jets their first point in the match.

 

Nicolo Lippolis battled through his entire match. After losing the first set in a tie break, he responded by winning the second set 6-2 and forcing a third set super tie breaker. The tie break was close again, but the Pratt player ended up winning it 8-10. 

 

Andrea Bramati played the third super tie breaker for the Jets after winning the first set 6-3 and losing the second one 3-6. The Beavers player got the best out of Bramati winning the tie breaker 6-10. 

 

Andrea Torrini got the second and last point in the match for the Jets after being in the lead 8-3 in his match. 

 

Upcoming:

The Jets will travel to Springfield, Missouri to play two matches this weekend. They will face the University of Illinois Springfield on Saturday, and Drury on Sunday.
