KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Men's Golf completed their spring season at the MIAA Conference Championship this week, finishing in tenth place. The Jets were the only team at the tournament to improve on their score each round, showing the growth that the team has been going through since the beginning of the fall. 

Chase Martel was the top placer for Newman once again, finishing in a tie for thirty-fourth. Martel improved on each of his scores through the three rounds, including scoring a 73 to end the tournament, which was a team low for the entire tournament. 

Quinn Toomey also showed major improvement from the first round to the third, going from scoring an 81 in the first round to finishing with a 74 in the third. 

Grant Delsart and Braxton Muldoon didn't have the turnaround that Martel and Toomey had, but still steadily improved on their scores throughout the tournament.

With that, the Newman Men's Golf season comes to an end. They will return to the fairways in the autumn for the start of their fall season in Septemeber.
