Mayetta, Kan. – Men's Golf competed in the Firekeeper Open on Monday and Tuesday, finishing in seventh place.
Braxton Muldoon placed sixth out of 91 golfers in the tournament.
Muldoon led the Jets in the opening round with a 73.
Grant Delsart followed with a 74, while
Alphonse Hermansson added a 75.
Charlie Townsend and
Tomas Asgeirsson each recorded rounds of 80 to close out the first round of play.
In the second round of play, Muldoon led the Jets with an even-par 72. Asgeirsson followed with a 74, while Delsart and Hermansson each recorded rounds of 76. Townsend added a 78 to close out the second round of competition.
In the final round, Townsend led the Jets with a 69, -3 under, that led the field in the final day of play. Muldoon followed with an even-par 72, while Asgeirsson added a 73. Hermansson recorded a 74, and Delsart rounded out the lineup with a 75 to close out the tournament. The Jets shot an even par on the final day of the tournament, the lowest score of the day, and climbed seven spots to beat 12 teams in the field.
