BOLIVAR, MO. - Newman Women's Golf completed their spring season this week, finishing up the season at the MIAA Conference Championship.
Newman and ten other schools from the MIAA competed for an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II National Championship, with the tournament taking place at Silo Ridge.
Aiden Coffelt and
Keira Ronsick would both finish in a tie for 40th place, with both being Newman's top placers the tournament. Ronsick had the best first round in the tournament for Newman, while Coffelt finished with the best third round score and best overall round score on the final day.
The other two Jets at the tournament,
Bethany Griffiths and
Isabella Callaba, would also finish in a tie to end the tournament. Both were only several strokes behind Coffelt and Ronsick in the standings.
Central Missouri would go on to win the tournament, clinching their second straight conference championship.
