Bonython named to All-MIAA Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA announced it's Postseason Softball awards Tuesday afternoon, with Hayley Bonython being named to the conference's second team list. 

Bonython, a transfer from Labette Community College and originally hailing from Adelaide, Australia, had a superb debut season for the Jets. With a batting average of around .400 nearly the entire season, she lead the team in hits with fifty four while bringing in forty one runs. 

Bonython also led the team in home runs with six, including a grand slam against McPherson in March.
