Victor Domingues is entering into his 2nd year as head coach of the Jets, after leading Newman to a 4-10-3 season in 2023.
Newman only graduated two of their last year's starters, making most players on the team returners. Alberto Romano comes back after a remarkable first season as a Jet. Romano scored seven goals and helped the team with six assists. Another returner to look out for will be Mario De Roque. The Spaniard accumulated seven points and totaled over a thousand minutes in his freshman season.
The Jets kicked off their season with an Exhibition game at Missouri State on Tuesday. Newman adds two more exhibitions in the next few weeks to get ready for non-conference starting September 5th against Oklahoma Christian. Their non-conference schedule includes: Southwest Baptist, Drury, Colorado Chrisitan, Saint Martin's, and Western Oregon. After their non-conference stint, conference play will begin. The Jets home conference opener is September 25th against Southern Nazarene. The Jets will wrap up their home conference regular season against Fort Hays State on November 7th.
